Sam, 25% in fees? Are you serious?
According to the eBay website, the total eBay fees for an item selling for $400 come to around $13.
Let's figure in PayPal fees, those work out to less than 3%. Total fees if you eBay it and take a PayPal payment, around $25. OK, to put that in perspective, guess how much you'd pay for a 2-line classified ad in a major metro newspaper? Hint: $25 isn't likely to be enough.

Our rental is in Dallas, well actually Pleasant Grove. Don't know how you make much money in Dallas with the taxes and property values so high. We are not in the "City" we are in far north Rockwall county, so we won't be getting gas for years. Since our house is already built, financially it just doesn't make sense to put gas in , re-build the kitchen etc.

Hi there Glenajo - I am you neighbor in east Dallas. I would agree that $400 is a fair price for your stove. However, I sure hate to see you sell it. I really enjoy my Chambers' stoves. I would love to have a summer kitchen, but unless my Chambers could sit outside totally & run off a small lp tank, I don't think it's going to happen. When you say summer kitchen are you talking about a screened in porch type thing?

I'm curious - why can't you just have the local propane dealer bring you out a tank? All you have to do is run the pipe from the tank to the CHAMBERS - they provide the tank, gas, & regulator.
BTW - used to live near Pleasant Grove. Loved eating at a little retaurant there that'd been there at least 50-60 years...

Hi again - by summer kitchen, I meant a screened shelter with a roof, where you could have a propane tank nearby. Hey Todd - I live near Pleasant Grove - what restaurant was that? Most are gone now, but I am curious if it is still around.
